The two events of the week were first (and most importantly,) Aiden's first tooth came loose and was pulled, and second, we harvested our first two tomatoes from our garden. We had given up on both earlier in the week. Aiden's tooth was wiggling back and forth for a few days without coming out and she managed to scream loud and long enough to keep me from wanting to get close enough to yank the little thing. I must admit, I really wanted a crack at it even about a week before it was probably ready to come out. The tomatoes, which had been green and without any increase in size for what seemed like a month finally showed a hint of red about 3 days ago and rapidly ripened from that point until we picked two of them on Saturday night. The tomatoes were their own reward; they were soooo delicious that we ate them both today. The tooth was also rewarded by the tooth fairy: five bucks. The tooth fairy did not have any smaller bills and since the tooth fairy is rewarded much more handsomely for each tooth he extracts at work, he did not feel justified paying any less for the tiny thing.

Man, My kids tooth fairy is a tight wad. Send your fairy over to my place and everyone will be happy. Bailee's third is loose right now!
I kept checking for the "tooth" picture! What a generous tooth fairy!
We would've been fighting over the tomatoes so it's a good thing they didn't come on with us there!
It's interesting Brook got the number of letters correct for happy...
sorry Cate has joined the no sleep club! :(
