Sweet Brooksie Maguksie is 4 years old!!! He came into the world screaming and spent several months letting us know he was here. Now he is the sweetest, kindest little boy we know and we are sure glad he's in our family. We had a wonderful birthday celebration yesterday with Uncle Clinton, Aunt Chaliese, and Daniel all here visiting. The day included pancakes in the shapes of "B" and "4" as well as a trip to the zoo, opening presents throughout the day, cake and ice cream, homemade pizza that was a complete disaster, and a trip to the one and only Chuck E. Cheese's to top it all off.
When he was 6 weeks old we took Brooks camping in Freeport, Maine. This is the ONLY picture we have of him.
Fun with friends in CT. I loved seeing the kids in this one because they're all so big now.
The 3 who were born all in the same week.
Don't let the cute face fool you, he SCREAMED the entire time we were on the canoe. Acadia National Park, Maine.
Loving the construction that was going on all around us on Raymond Rd.

Checking out the all star ballot. Manny is his favorite player because he has "long hai-ah"

My very own guitar heroes.

"Hi two mommies!!" Brooks loves to go cross eyed and he ALWAYS has a messy face (in spite of my best efforts to keep him cleaned up).
Nothing wrong with a sword down the pants.

Lewis is glad to have Brooks along while fishing because he doesn't mind handling the worms.

Photo booth is pretty much the best invention ever.

The birthday boy!! How is he already 4 years old? How is this the 3rd birthday we have celebrated in Alabama? Luckily Aunt Chaliese was here to save Brooks from another one of my disaster cakes.
Happy Birthday Brooks!!! We are so glad that you are a part of our family. The things you say are so funny and cute. You keep us laughing and always put a smile on our faces. A and Cate are so lucky to have such a tender hearted and generous brother. We love how you are a superhero lover as well as an animal lover. We love how you are so willing to help out and to share even your most favorite things. We love how you can climb everything, even the windows in our house. We love how you get right in the kennel with Georgia and say "I love you Georgia" and how you notice when someone is sad and try to make them feel better. We love how you are so sincere and genuine and we hope you never ever ever change that. You are one in a million.

oh I hope Brooks had a good Birthday. what a cute little boy. and a sweetheart. it's so funny I think birth order has something to do with personalities. I swear Tyson and Brooks are so much alike. so sweet and sensitive.
